What is Built-Up Roofing (BUR)?

Built-Up Roofing (BUR) is one of the oldest and most tried-and-true flat roof systems still widely used today. It is made up of layers of bitumen alternated with reinforcing fabrics, forming a tough, watertight membrane that's ideal for flat and low-slope roofs.
